After purchasing any of Anker Bluetooth keyboards, you may notice that it doesn’t provide instructions to connect or pair it with your iPad, laptop, MacBook, tablet, or phone.
You are left to figure out how to connect the keyboard to any of your devices on your own. Not many people understand how to pair their Anker keyboard to their device correctly because it isn’t something they are familiar with.
A typical Bluetooth keyboard usually comes with an external Bluetooth USB adapter that will serve as a receiver for the Bluetooth keyboard, which is simply a plug and play connection.

Unfortunately, Anker didn’t use this connection method for their Bluetooth keyboard. Instead, the Anker Bluetooth keyboard would require you to pair it with any other Bluetooth device using an authorization code.
This is where many people encounter issues because they are not familiar with the authorization code required to establish the connection.
The authorization code would be displayed on your device and entered on your Anker keyboard to be correctly connected.
In this article, I will share how to correctly connect your Anker keyboard to any of your devices easily.
Connecting an Anker keyboard to any device requires Bluetooth. Without your device supporting Bluetooth, it is impossible to connect your Bluetooth keyboard to it.
To connect, you will need to enable the Bluetooth of both your keyboard and your device. Then your device will discover the keyboard and display an authorization code after you click on it.
You will enter the displayed authorization code on your Anker keyboard and then press enter to establish a Bluetooth connection between them correctly.

iPad doesn’t come along with a keyboard, and its users are aware of this, which is why they take advantage of the Anker Bluetooth keyboard.
The keyboard works for all iPads, and it is straightforward to connect.
The Anker Bluetooth keyboard works on any laptop using either Windows 7, 8, 10, or 11 operating system.

Press and hold the Fn key + Z to enable Bluetooth on the Anker Bluetooth keyboard while it is turned on. In this state, it would be in pairing mode, and the device you want to connect it to can discover it.
Once you power on the Anker keyboard, it automatically turns on the Bluetooth and stays in pairing mode for a few seconds.
If you don’t connect your device to it while in pairing mode, the Bluetooth will be disabled. You will have to turn on the Bluetooth again before entering pairing mode.
Once in pairing mode, you can connect or pair whatever device you want to establish a connection with.
There are primary 3 reasons why your Anker Bluetooth keyboard is not connecting, and we will take a look at each reason to see how you can resolve it.
You may not be able to connect any of your device to the Anker keyboard because the Bluetooth is disabled.
It takes just a few seconds for the Bluetooth to stay on after turning the keyboard on. If you don’t connect your device within those few seconds, the keyboard will automatically be disabled.
You will have to turn on the Anker keyboard Bluetooth again before it enters pairing mode so that you can connect to it.
Click on the Fn and Z key together to enable the Bluetooth of the Anker keyboard. Once it is enabled, it will enter pairing mode, and you need to connect your device to it quickly before it disconnects again.
Whenever your device is about to establish a connection to the Anker keyboard, you will get a pop-up that includes a verification or authorization code.
Your Anker keyboard is the one that gives this authorization code to your device so that your device can connect to it correctly.
When you see this authorization code, you will have to enter the code on your Anker keyboard and then hit enter to pair them together.
If you mistakenly enter the wrong code, your Anker keyboard won’t connect, and you will have to start all over.
Make sure you enter the code correctly on the keyboard and press enter. The code is in numbers and can either be 4, 5, or more digits.
Another reason your Anker keyboard is not connecting is that your device may not support Bluetooth.
Whatever device you are trying to connect to, if it doesn’t support Bluetooth, there’s no way to connect to the keyboard.
Although if it happens to be your laptop that doesn’t support Bluetooth, you can use an external Bluetooth adapter to make it support Bluetooth.
