1. From Action Center

  1. Press and hold the Windows logo + A key on your Dell keyboard to open the action center. If you have keyboard issues, you can also access the action center by navigating your mouse to your bottom right-hand corner and click on the icon that looks like a combination of message and moon.
  2. The action center will reveal all your wireless communications and you can find your airplane mode among them.
  3. Now click on the icon that looks like an airplane ? to turn on or off airplane mode.

Note – Depending on the color of theme your computer is using, the airplane mode will change deeply to that color when it is turned on and will change to a light color when it is turned off.

2. From WiFi Notification

  1. Navigate to the toolbar at the bottom right-hand corner on your Dell laptop screen
  2. Click on the wireless logo among the toolbar. If you can’t see the WiFi logo among the toolbar, click on the arrow pointing upward in the toolbar to reveal the rest of your tools.
  3. Immediately you click on the toolbar, you should see a pop up revealing your WiFi, Airplane mode and on some Dell laptops, Mobile Hotspots is included

Note – The airplane mode will be highlighted with your theme color when it is turned on and greyed out to your theme color when it is turned off.

  1. Press and hold the Windows logo key + I to open your settings. You can also open your settings going to your windows bar and then click on settings.
  2. While in settings, Choose network & internet
  3. By your left-hand side, you should navigate to Airplane mode
  4. Once you are in airplane mode, you will be given an option to turn it off or on
